Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines—and drive over to the Punta Gorda Speedway for an evening of family fun.
A little more than 20 years old, the Punta Gorda Speedway is a 3/8 mile banked asphalt track, located next door to the Charlotte County Airport. It operates primarily on Saturday nights with a full slate of stock car racing, and sprint cars and karts on special occasions.
