Ballet continues to grow in Sarasota where principal ballerina Julie Kent
and José Carreño will attend a performance of seven students they coached last summer during the Carreño
Dance Festival’s intensive summer program.

The seven students featured in the special performance have earned
scholarships as well as recognition in such major dance competitions as the American Dance Competition and the Youth America Grand Prix, according to a recent release about the students and their performance.
