Seventh inning heaven, LW takes Tampa Catholic

Play was intense during Wednesday’s game as Lake Wales and Tampa Catholic remained scoreless for five innings until Tampa finally fell to Lake Wales 2-1 in the 7th inning.

“Find a Way!!!” was an inspirational message written on the roster posted in the Lake Wales dugout. And find a way they did ... both teams remained scoreless for five straight innings with Lake Wales scoring two runs in the 6th inning and Tampa Catholic scoring 1 run in the 7th inning. Lake Wales won with a final score of 2-1.
