On Tuesday, Jan. 15, there was an alleged petit theft reported at JCPenney’s at Eagle Ridge Mall.

According to reports, one unknown black male entered JCPenney’s at about 3:45 p.m, and grabbed four pairs of Nike shoes, allegedly walking out of the store without paying for them. The following day a man entered the store and grabbed three pairs of Nike shoes, according to reports, which are valued at $280. Reports say the suspect walked out of the store without paying for the shoes. The suspect, according to police, is described as a black male, 6-foot-2, thin, with a goatee and wearing a red hat.
