Mary L. Brantley Hudson, 84, of Frostproof passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at Grace Health Care due to Heart Failure.

Mary was born Oct. 26, 1928 in Jefferson County, Ga. to the late Sils and Mae Bell (McKenzie) Brantley and has been a lifelong resident Florida. She was a retired Citrus Grader for Ben Hill Griffin and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie B. Hudson; daughters, Pamela Heller, Cindy Hudson Desmore and son, Michael “Spanky” Hudson. Survivors include her sister, Carolyn Hunter of Texas; brother, Jack Brantley of Frostproof; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Kelly Galati officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 from 10 a.m. until service time.
