Gregory D. Moss, 59 of Babson Park passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at his residence.

He was born Sept. 18, 1953 in Charleston, W.Va. to the late Doyle & Gloria Moss. He came to the Lake Wales area from West Virginia in 1992. He was a retired banker, a member of Henry’s Fork Baptist Church in Tariff, W.Va. and a member of the Linden Masonic Lodge # 83 AF & AM in Linden, WV. He was an organizer for Leadership Lake Wales and a member of the Noon Rotary Club. He was an avid golfer and attended the Babson Park Community Church. He was a past member of the Board of Trustees for Webber International University, where he received his honorary doctorate degree.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Denise A. Moss; daughter, Amanda Moss of Babson Park; son, Adam Moss of Babson Park; sister, Cheryl Holbrook of Charleston, W.Va.; and brothers, Kevin Pratt of Charleston, W.Va., Kyle Pratt of High Point, N.C. and David Moss of St. Albans, W.Va.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the funeral service at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at the Babson Park Community Church. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Babson Park Community Church or Cornerstone Hospice.
