Candy O. Greathouse, 27, and her daughter, Leilani Isabella Greathouse, 3 months, of Frostproof passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, due to an auto accident.

Candy was born Oct. 5, 1985 in Houston, Texas, and Leilani was born July 2, 2012, in Winter Haven.

Candy was a pharmacy technician for Winter Haven Hospital. She enjoyed family time, dancing, and was a Miami Hurricane fan. Leilani was a happy baby, who was always smiling. She was a Mama’s Girl.

Survivors include husband and father, Teddy Greathouse; daughter and sister, Arianna Greathouse; parents and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fidel Ocampo; grandmother and maternal grandmother, Inez Cervantes; sister and aunt, Sandra Del-a-Cruz (Charlie) of Frostproof; brothers and uncles, Victor Sanchez (Lucinda) of Frostproof, Daniel Sanchez of Warner-Robbins, Ga., and Fidel Ocampo, Jr. of Frostproof; nieces, nephews and cousins, Mera Gauzin, Noe Gauzin, Keauno Sanchez, Tisha Lackey, and Booboo Sanchez. Other survivors include Leilani’s paternal grandparents, Sonny Clements of Frostproof and Becky Thornton of Frostproof; paternal great-grandfather, Frank Thornton of Frosptroof; aunt, Katrina Greathouse and uncle, Tyler Thornton.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Frosptroof with Rev. Kelly Galati officiating.

Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.

A Memorial Fund for Candy and Leilani is being set up for those who wish to make donations please contact the funeral home.
