Dale R. Fair Babson Park Elementary fifth graders brought some special guests to class recently for the school’s annual “Bring Your Parent to School Day.”

Parents and other relatives shadowed their fifth graders on Sept. 26. After reading “The Donut Machine” by Homer Price, students and adults donned gloves and safety glasses to make their own doughnuts.

Every year, the school designates a specific day for each grade level to “Bring Your Parent to School.” Fourth grade participated on Oct. 8. Remaining days are Dec. 5 for grades 2-3, and Dec. 12 for grades K-1.
