With a name like Frostproof, you can bet that something interesting is happening. Saturday afternoon, two Frostproof residents, Ed Finnegan and Joe Davenport, invited friends and family from all over Polk County to their first “Wet Paint” Art show at the Frostproof Art League and Gallery.

The creative duo studied art under Frank Dominick and Jenny Grenke, art league members, for over 4 months and sold nearly their entire exhibit within 90 minutes.

Joe and Ed invite adults with challenges to join them in the free art classes on Thursdays at 12:30 p.m.

For more information, see the art league’s website at www.frostproofartleagueandgallery.com or Facebook.

Jenny Collins Grenke is the Frostproof Art League’s 2013 president
