READ Polk will offer a free training workshop to volunteers who would like to teach adults how to read on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Polk State College J.D. Alexander Center, 152 E. Central Avenue, Lake Wales.

A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. No experience is necessary. Volunteers will receive the training and materials to become certified tutors. Class size is limited.
