Lake Wales Care Center presents its Third Annual Run Like You Care event, featuring a 5K and 10K race and Kids Fun Run. The event takes place Saturday, April 13, on the banks of Lake Wailes across from Kiwanis Park. The Kids Fun Run is for kids age 12 and under. The 10K starts at 7:30 a.m. The 5K starts at 8 a.m. Registration is at 7 a.m. Cost is $20 per person and there are goodie bags and T-shirts for all participants. There will be fun for the whole family, including bouncy houses for the kids and games. To register or to get more information, visit
