Marian Casey told the story of a woman who had hip surgery. She used a wheelchair during her recovery and Medicare paid for it.

When the woman didn’t need it anymore, she returned the wheelchair. But the company where it came from continued to bill Medicare for the next two years. “These things are happening every day,” said Casey, who is a volunteer with the Florida Senior Medicare Patrol Program.
