The Lake Wales City Commission will be asked next week to approve a special permit application to allow the 42nd Annual Lake Wales Art Show to be held in Lake Wailes Park on March 22-24 and allow artists to set up on Friday, March 22.

The event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. March 22 with a barbecue and musical entertainment. It will conclude at 9 p.m. On Saturday, March 23, the day’s activities will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. while Sunday’s schedule is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
