Three members of the Lake Placid Aquatics team joined with the Highlands Hurricanes Swim Team from Sebring to record impressive finishes in the Winter Haven Stingrays Get Rowdy and Race Short Course Swim Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20-22. Thirty teams from around the state competed in the meet with over 600 individual swimmers taking part.
Lake Placid’s Mason Million, in the boys’ 13-14 category, finished eighth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:25.32). Peyton Ming, in the 11-12 age group was sixth in the 50-yard backstroke (33.89), the 100-yard butterfly (1:18.13) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:17.13). He was seventh in the 50-yard butterfly (33.85).
