Triple G Rays tie
Florida Grove Hedgers
Triple G Rays and Florida Grove Hedgers faced off against each other in Dixie League Baseball 9-, 10-year-old play on Feb. 26. In the first inning Troy Hovis scored for the Rays. In the bottom half of that inning, Allen Torres, Holden Marchin, Walker Holmes, Tiger Youngman, and James Swaford all scored, giving the Hedgers the lead. In the top half of the second inning, John Phillips, Chase Cronin, Jenna Gutierrez, and Philip Leider all scored. The Hedgers were blanked for the next two innings. Both teams added one in the fourth. Cronin scored again for the Rays and Holmes scored again for the Hedgers. The final of this game was 6-6.
