The Lake Placid Middle School Lady Dragon basketball team found the going rough against the DeSoto Middle School Panthers Monday evening, Jan. 14, losing 36-18 in a game played in Arcadia.

This one got away early with the home team racing out to an 8-3 first-period advantage and adding to it at 19-10 just before intermission. Then the Panthers went on a 13-0 tear in the third quarter to lead it, 32-10.
