The Lake Placid Green Dragon boys’ varsity basketball team found the going rough Friday night, Jan. 18, as they lost to the Avon Park Red Devils, 60-41, in a game played here at Bill Ross Memorial Gymnasium.

The contest began with the visitors blasting out to a 19-2 lead in the first quarter as practically nothing went right for the Dragons. The halftime score found Avon Park in the lead, 34-19.
