Renee Marin and Jane Wickman took top honors in the Alex Barajas 5K held in Lake Placid Saturday morning, Jan. 12. Marin finished the race with a time of 17:34 while Ms Wickman was clocked at 25:57. Keith Campbell was the Male Masters winner at 23;13 while Maria Barragan was the Female Masters medalist at 26:56.
The male age group winners were: 10 and under: Zac Boley (27:49), 11-14 Dylan Branch (24:38), 15-18: Nicolas Gregor (21:51), 19-24: Steve Endicott (20:38), 25-29: Darryl White (23:41), 30-34: Jesus Garcia (24:43), 40-44: Victor Ochoa (24:04), 45-49: Saverio Telesco (33:36), 50-54: Walter Kohl (29:40), 55-59: Russell Andrews (24:32), 60-64: Charles McLocklin (24:14), 65-69: Richard Rucker (30:13), and 70+ Gary Walker (45:56).
