Despite playing hard and showing moments of brilliance with a depleted squad, the Lake Placid Green Dragon boys’ soccer team went down to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the LaBelle Cowboys in a game played here at Roger Scarborough Memorial Field Tuesday night, Jan. 8.
The Green Dragons brought only a dozen players to the pitch, a matter which put them at a disadvantage right away as the visiting Cowboys are a strong and deep squad.
