The DeSoto Bulldogs came from behind with a pair second-half goals to edge the Lake Placid Green Dragon boys’ varsity soccer team, 2-1, in a game played Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Roger Scarborough Memorial Field.
The Green Dragons drew first blood in this one with a goal in the first half. Danny Gil passed to Miguel Resendiz, setting up the latter for a score into the top of the net. Despite the fact that the Dragons had numerous other shots on goal, there was no further scoring in the opening stanza.
