A trio of Lake Placid men, already in jail on other charges, now face additional charges in connection with a series of burglaries that kept the Leisure Lakes subdivision on edge last fall. At least 16 break-ins during September and October are attributed to the men, according to the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrested were Akeem Wilson, 25; his brother, Andre Wilson, 20, both of S. Sun ’N Lake Blvd., Lake Placid, and Eric Kendrix, 24. formerly of Amaranth Street, Lake Placid.
