A 44-year-old Lake Placid man was jailed this week on 233 counts of child pornography. David Frost was booked under bonds totaling $233,000. The arrest came Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Highlands County Sheriff’s Office public information officer Nell Hays said no local children are involved and that Frost had downloaded the illicit images from Internet websites.
