deputies to cocaine arrest

A 34-year-old Lake Placid man was jailed Wednesday, Dec. 19 after deputies with the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the man’s apartment and reportedly found what was called “a significant amount of cocaine.”
Deputies with the Special Investigations Unit served a search warrant at 101 McGahee Ave. Apt. 105. During the search of the apartment cocaine, packaged for sale, was recovered. Additionally, a smaller amount of prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia and over $10,000 in cash was seized.
