Passengers suffer minor
injuries in bus-car collision
The 23 passengers aboard a bus escaped serious injury when their bus collided with a 2000 Saturn about
10:50 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 on County Road 721, south of State Road 70, according to reports on file with the Florida Highway Patrol.
Trooper B. MacWhorter said 46-year-old Tracy Engler of Sebring was driving her Saturn south on CR 721 when she veered to the left across the center line to avoid something on the road. The car slammed into the right front and right side of the bus.
