The Placid Lakes Social Circle, aka “The Dalton Gang,” met recently and came up with several ideas and activities for the year 2013. Among the more popular suggestions were day trips, cruises, and potluck dinners. The Circle will be having a potluck dinner the Feb. 24 at Placid Lakes Town Hall, inviting all past participants of the group to join in and bring a covered dish and dessert to share. Social hour will start at noon with dinner served at 1 p.m. Pete Ruano will be the musician until 2:15 p.m. Call Joyce at 863-699-6331 with any questions.

The next excursion will be a Peace River dinner-cruise starting at the Nav-A-Gator Grill in Arcadia. Sign-up sheet will be on our information wall at the Town Hall. There will be more information available soon, this trip will be scheduled in April or May.
