After making closed-circuit television history in the Bahamas, the Placid Lakes Social Circle returned Jan. 24 from a cruise to the Bahamas. Barbara and Mike Brigante won the “Dalton Gang” award for their outstanding performance on the “Love and Marriage” show. They got a standing ovation from the audience, and the master of ceremonies awarded the Brigante’s and the two other couples prizes for their participation. The show was televised all the next day for the ship’s viewing. They were celebrities to say the least. Be sure to visit the information wall at Placid Lakes Town Hall for pictures of the Gang.
