The “Litter Patrol” has scheduled a litter clean-up day for Saturday, Feb. 9. Safety vests, grabber sticks and trash bags will be available; and those participating should wear shoes or boots, no sandals or open-toed shoes. Be at the Placid Lakes Town Hall at 8 a.m. to sign in and pick up your equipment. If you have a couple of hours to spare, we can use your help and if you have a golf cart all the better. We’ll work until 10:30 a.m. Call 863-465-4888 by Feb. 4 to let Bonnie know if you can help, she wants to make sure there’s enough equipment for everyone.
