Have you ever hosted a large dinner party? How about a Christmas dinner party for hundreds of guests – some of them friends and some total strangers. That’s the task Eddie Mae Henderson has undertaken every Christmas since 1984.

The community has rallied behind her every year, offering donations of canned food, turkeys, hams, all the other foods that make for a traditional holiday meal. Cash is usually donated,too, along with toys to hand out to children.
