The Lake Placid Town Council opened its meeting Monday evening with a tribute to Town Clerk Arlene J. Tuck for her many years of service to the town. Tuck will retire next month after a career spanning 25 years as Town Clerk. She also served for three years as a member of the Town Council before assuming the duties of Town Clerk.
