Lake Placid Memorial Library will host children’s book author Rhoda A. Ross at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20.

Ross will help celebrate the first day of spring by reading aloud her interactive children’s book, “A Wildflower for All Seasons,” for children ages 4 to 9. Ross will also lead an origami activity.
