The Lake Placid Town Council unanimously gave its nod of approval Monday evening to Mayor John Holbrook’s nomination of Police Chief Phil Williams to become Town Administrator. The action came at a special meeting of the Town Council.

As town administrator, Williams will be responsible for the day to day operations of the town, answering directly to the mayor.
