Florida’s Blood Centers will conduct a blood drive Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 3380 Placid View Dr., Lake Placid. All donors will receive a free movie ticket.

“Every blood donation saves three lives in our community,” said Florida’s Blood Center community relations coordinator Jorge Juver.
