“Flower Power” was the theme for the Lake Placid Garden Club’s 19th annual fashion show and luncheon to benefit its scholarship fund. The event, coordinated and presented by member Luise Andrea, was Saturday, Jan. 26.

President Alice Stahr welcomed a sell-out crowd to an afternoon of fun at the Lake Placid Elks Lodge. Elk members and Potter’s House ladies served an apricot chicken dinner prepared by Chef Vince Connel.
