No good deed goes unpunished. That old saying was proven true Sunday when a good Samaritan found himself in trouble Sunday after jumping into action when he saw a woman pinned under a fallen motorcycle.

The man was stopped behind the motorcycle on Tower Street at U.S. 27 waiting for a traffic light when the motorcycle began to wobble and then fell over. The man driving the motorcycle fell clear of it, but his female passenger’s leg was trapped near the hot exhaust. Witnesses said it was without hesitation that the man jumped from his pick-up truck and ran to lift the motorcycle off the woman.
