Final numbers are being tabulated, but there were likely record crowds on hand for the Lake Placid Art League’s 26th annual Art and Fine Craft Show presented Saturday at the Bert J. Harris Jr. Agri-Civic Center near Sebring. Doors opened at 9 a.m. and displays and vendors were on hand until 4 p.m.

Bright skies and pleasant weather greeted visitors. “We ordered up perfect weather and that’s just what we got,” said a beaming Marlene Snyder, one of the many volunteers who make the event a success. Door prizes donated by more than 50 vendors were awarded throughout the day, making the day even better for many show visitors.
