The Highlands County Democratic Party will hold its annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sun ‘n Lakes Community Center, located at 3500 Edgewater Dr., in Sebring. Dinner will be catered by Chef Mac.

Speakers will be Val Demings, the first female Chief of the Orlando Police Department and the Democratic candidate for Florida’s 10th congressional district in the 2012 election; and Alan Clendenin, currently one of two candidates vying for the chairmanship of the Florida Democratic Party.
