A candlelight vigil was held Saturday evening on the lawn at the Highlands County Courthouse in honor of the shooting victims at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn.

Setting the scene were 20 green and yellow candles, in memory of each of the children killed. Each candle adorned with an American flag was set up along with six figurines to commemorate the teachers who lost their lives. Green and yellow were chosen to represent the elementary school’s official colors.
