The Ol’ South Parrot Head Club, represented by Jean Deuth (left) recently presented a check for $122 to Muriah Davis of One Hope United to be used to purchase gift cards for local teens in foster care. OSPHC is a new, local chapter of Parrot Heads in Paradise, an organization of 240 chartered clubs comprising some 28,000 members throughout the world with a goal of raising funds for community projects, environmental concerns, and in the last ten years has raised over $28 million and contributed three million man hours to their charities.
