Five students from Lake Placid High School participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Varsity cheerleaders Chelsea Hillier, Brittany Reid, Bianca Rivera and Yarensi Sanchez and Green Dragon band members Ashton Abela and Erik Yakes were selected for “All American” teams.

In addition to marching in the nationally televised parade, the teenagers also had the opportunity to see and enjoy some of New York’s attractions, including Top of the Rock at The Rockerfeller Center, shopping at Time Square and Macy’s, eating at Bubba Gumps, Dallas BBQ and the Hard Rock Cafe.
