A company with close ties to former Sen. JD Alexander and his family wants to sell tens of thousands of acres of land in Highlands and DeSoto counties, according to a news release Tuesday.

Atlantic Blue Group announced it will place its major land holdings — known as Blue Head Ranch, Blue Head Farms and Tri-County Grove — on the market.
