Smith is center of ‘family’ reunion one more time

Alice Smith's husband David was also in attendance as Ben Hill Griffin Jr. Elementary School in Frostproof recently renamed its media center in Mrs. Smith's honor

Current and former BHG teachers and staff offered one more spirited rendition of "We Are Family."

During the dedication ceremony for the Alice Faye Smith Media Center at Ben Hill Griffin Jr. Elementary on earlier this month, teachers and staff sang “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge in honor of the woman to whom the center was posthumously dedicated.
