Mitchell has tough season to top

Angela Mitchell, right, will be starting her junior year at Stillman College. She was the team's top scorer last year, and was a member of the 1,000 point club for her carrer in women's basektball in Fort Meade.

Angela Mitchell, a former girls’ basketball player at Fort Meade High School and Class of 2011 graduate of Fort Meade High is now raising the bar high at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where she is shining on and off the court, and getting ready to start her junior season.

Angela plays for the Stillman College Women’s Basketball team, as a shooting guard and as a sophomore she was the team captain. Mitchell had an astonishing sophomore year. She led the team in scoring, and also received the MVP Award, Best Offensive Player Award, and The Student Choice Favorite Female Athlete Award.
