De'Laney Chellav (Tink) Ensslin
Miss De’Laney Chellav (Tink) Ensslin, 8, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, with her mother, Dawn Jerkins Ensslin, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Tink was born Jan. 23, 2004, in Bartow, Fla., and was a life long resident of Fort Meade.
She was a third grade student at Lewis Anna Woodbury Elementary in Fort Meade.
Tink was a member of First Baptist Church, Fort Meade where she accepted Christ as her Saviour on April 22, 2012, and was baptized April 29, 2012.
She had an infectious smile that everyone loved.
Tink was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Mitchell Hicks and Maxine Watson, Alto Lee and Chellav Jerkins, Sr., Carl and Viola Ensslin.
She is survived by her father, Brian Ensslin, Lakeland, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Bill and June Jerkins, Fort Meade, Fla., paternal grandparents, Larry and Jean Ensslin, Lakeland, Fla.; great-grandmothers, Thelma Sliger and Evelyn Myers, both of Lakeland, Fla.; sister, Destiny Ensslin, Lakeland, Fla., numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held 6-8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade.
Funeral services were 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at the First Baptist Church, 307 E. Broadway, Fort Meade with Rev. Kenny Slay and John Wheeler officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.hancockfh.com .
