Sweethearts dinner dance tickets available

The good times will roll in Fort Meade on Saturday, Feb. 16, when the city's department of recreational services will host a special Sweethearts Dinner Dance at the community center on South Charleston. The fun-loving New Orleans Jazz Nighthawks will be performing, and there will be a buffet dinner too. Tickets are now on sale at several places around the city.

The evening will feature a buffet dinner and the toe-tappin’ music of the New Orleans Jazz Nighthawks, a six-member group that features a combination of swing, jazz and dixieland favorites. Dinner will include chicken pot pie, rustic meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable medley, red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and drinks.
