Twenty years ago on Sunday, Florida was hit by Hurricane Andrew, one of the most destructive to hit the Sunshine State. This year on that date what is now Tropical Storm Number Nine may be on Cuba, but renamed Hurricane Isaac with winds up to 110 mph.
Forecasters, though, say it’s too early to tell it could make landfall on Florida a few days later.
