Faux earns fourth term as property appraiser

Three-term incumbent Marsha Faux easily turned back a challenge from political newcomer Steven Blake to earn a another four years in the Polk County Property Appraiser’s seat.
With 160 of 167 precints reporting mid-Tuesday evening, Faux totaled 44,466 votes (74.2) percent) while Blake got 15,493 (25.8 percent) votes.
