County Commission candidates who will face each other in the Aug. 14 primary election listen to the rules of the forum from Sue Schultz of the League of Women Voters. From left are Tracy Garcia and Ed Smith, opponents for the District 1 seat which will be taken by the winner on Aug. 14; next to them are Chris Dowdy and John Hall. The winner of this race for District 5 will face Ricky Shirah in the Nov. 6 general election.
A special section outlining each of the candidates in the Aug. 14 primary election Aug. 14 is coming next week in this newspaper.
