With hurricane season upon us, we can all rest a little easier knowing that our law enforcement agencies, like most other city and county services, are ready to protect and serve us before, during and after a storm.

Agencies like the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the Bartow and Lake Wales police departments have their emergency plans in place and have practiced gearing up should the county face serious storms this season.
