Dorothy Moore “Dotty” Balch, 91, of Sarasota, Fla., and formerly of Massachusetts, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.

Her activities and interests included bowling, bocce, Christmas lighting, Easter flowers, being hostess for a Pancake Breakfast, and Woman’s Club. Dotty will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Robert W. Balch; daughters, Rosemary Stipa and Patricia Marshall; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church in Englewood, Fla. Refreshments will follow in the Church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice Inc.

Arrangements are by National Cremation and Burial Society.
