Rolland G. Geiger

Rolland G. Geiger, 86, of Rotonda West, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012.

He was born June 25, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, the loving son of John Henry and Olga Geiger.

Rolland served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He moved to Florida in 1970 from Bedford, Ohio. Rolland was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

He is survived by his sons, John (Toby) of Venice, Fla., and Rollie (Betty) of Raleigh, N.C.; four sisters; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Placida Road Church of God, 5225 Placida Road, (Grove City) Englewood, FL 34224.

Arrangements are by National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte, Fla.
